BLANTANT SEX DISCRIMINATION Never Ceases to Amaze Me!

It shouldn’t, because I bang on about it all the time BUT still.

Today I searched on Canva ......what I believe is a well respected and well used platform......for images of “Women earning money” It is for a new project I am working on and YES there were a few of “young pert women” working,

BUT the images below also came up!!!!!

Feeling a little shocked.....this was Canva afterall.......I did the same search on “Men earning money” did any images come up with men in their underwear......NOOOOO of course not!

‍

AND of course nothing came up that I could use for my purposes, promoting businesswomen over 40!

‍

Nothing at all, fully clothed or otherwise.....apparently, as far as Canva is concerned, working women are earning money in their underwear OR they are young. Older working women don’t exist!!!!

‍

I am sorry but this blatant online discrimination and is exactly why in midlife women lose confidence, don’t reach their full potential or become financially free. They are just too scared to put their head above the parapet wall for fear of judgement!!!

THIS HAS TO STOP.

Midlife women are the cornerstone of society, we are the reason why our children have gone to university and are now the doctors and teachers etc of the future. We have supported our husbands so industry has flourished, AND we can be VERY SUCCESSFUL businesswomen in our own right.

We, Midlife Women are strong, powerful, problem solvers and INTELLIGENT.

‍

SO WHEN is this going to be reflected in the images platforms like Canva present to us??????

Truly what is this all about.? We are afterall in 2022 not 1922!!!!!
